Both. Students starting tutoring in September typically see an improvement of 1 to 2 (sometimes 3) grades in exams, from wherever they begin (between grade 1 - 7). I also offer a GCSE to A-Level Maths transition course for those on GCSE grade 6 or 7, and Functional Skills.

I am a fully qualified Secondary Maths teacher with 8 years experience working in Comprehensive, Private and International Schools, as well as Private Tuition, specialising in GCSE exam preparation.Prior to teaching, I attended Watford Boys Grammar School, then achieved a 2:1 from the University of Bath. I then spent 5 years working in Finance (I am a part-qualified CA accountant) and 5 years in Recruitment (Sales).This mixed work experience has afforded me with the patience and tenacity to adapt to the wide variety of student needs and personalities, to help them achieve their targets.

Lessons are online, and last 1 hour. Pupils / parents will be sent a link to a Zoom meeting shortly before each lesson. They will need a pen, paper and a calculator for each session.

Whilst no mandatory homework will be set, pupils will be directed to a free online homework resource - where they are encouraged to practice questions on topics they have completed.
